ABOUT MY JEWELRY
I specialize in making unique pieces. Some items are customizable and that will be indicated in the descriptions. Of course I can always make special items and custom orders, just send me an e-mail. Because the pieces are original and handmade and I want them to be unique additions to your collections, they will be available for a limited time and may be limited to a few pieces. When indicated the stones may vary a little from piece to piece as each is a unique creation, but I guarantee that all of the pieces I produce are of the same quality and very similar to the individual piece shown on my site (in most cases it will be that exact piece).
My gold-colored jewelry consists of gold-filled components and sometimes gold vermeil. Gold vermeil is sterling silver coated in gold. Gold-filled consists of an inner core of silver wrapped in a thick sheet of gold. My gold-filled components are guaranteed to not wear out. In other words they will retain their golden appearance and not wear through to the core, during the lifetime of the piece of jewelry.
Sterling silver pieces will of course tarnish as they are real silver and not coated with anything. These pieces will not tarnish as much if regularly worn. When they appear tarnished I recommend using a soft polishing cloth meant for jewelry. I do not recommend using abrasive or chemical cleaners as this can harm the stone components of the pieces.
